I'm a Massachusetts based photographer specializing in abstract and intentional camera movement (ICM) seascape images that celebrate the interplay between sea and sky. As a native of Northern Michigan now living on the East Coast, I have spent my life around water and believe there is an intrinsic need in all of us to spend time near it. I’ve been drawn to the use of abstract techniques such as intentional camera movement to make images of the ocean that strip away the familiar to reveal a deeper elemental essence.
I have also been lucky to be able to travel extensively and enjoy capturing both traditional landscape images, as well as street scenes and people from many parts of the world. While my focus is the ocean, I still greatly enjoy these images and am happy to share them here.
